imposition “is the term used

on each side of a printed sheet
so they will be in the correct order
when they are cut, folded, and trimmed.”
examples for 8-pagers (e.g.) are given:
work and turn
work and tumble
blad: “[s]ample pages of a
book produced in booklet form for
promotional purposes.”
editing for print (g. rogers).
